Agnes E. Vogel, 84, of Barker Drive, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the Solvay Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born in Duluth on December 24, 1927 to Charles and Victoria Busker. Agnes was a graduate of Denfeld High School, attended Duluth Business University and retired from St. Louis County Health Department where she was a clerk and Stenographer. Agnes was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she was active with the funeral lunch committee. She was also an election judge for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Helen Larson and Clara Olson; a brother, Leo Busker. She is survived by her children, Vicki (Kirk) Olson of Duluth, Mark (Lisa) Vogel of Esko, Judy Erickson of Proctor, Sue (Don) Strong of Ledyard, Connecticut and Mike (Renee) Vogel of Bovey, Minn; a brother, Frank (Jan) Busker of Duluth; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; many nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, Coco. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 West 3rd St, and will continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church.
