Ann Lindstrom

The peanut butter and hard toast industry took a hit this week as mother has departed. Ann Lindstrom,93, passed away the evening of May 4th at the end of a long life of love and devotion both to her family and many friends. She was born May 16th, 1922 to Edward and Olga Johnson in Duluth and except for a short stint in California during WW2 was a life long resident. She was inspirational in her desire for life and for always putting others first. Preceded in death by her parents and stepdad Oscar, Husband George and brothers Henry and Edward. She is survived by Daughter Barb Luoma, son Brad (Lynn), grandchildren Travis (Kara), Chad, Sarah, Abbey (Curtis), Simon (Kelsi),Charlie and Zander. Many thanks to friend and caretaker Claudia, and to the staff at Viewcrest nursing home for their great care. Rest in peace sweet, dear mom. Memorial service Wednesday, May 11th at 2pm at Williams-Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral home, 3208 W. 3rd St. Duluth with reception to follow at Bethany Lutheran church.
