Bernadine Glowacki

Bernadine A. "Bernie" Glowacki, age 84, Duluth, died January 31, 2014 at Diamond Willow, Proctor with family at her side. She was born in Melrose, MN on May 26, 1929 to Henry and Agnes Duevel. Bernie married the love of her life, Peter Glowacki in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Marie on June 24, 1950. She was a homemaker and her family came first. Bernie especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a longstanding active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Morgan Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael, infant sister Katherine, brothers Aloys, Norbert, Joseph and sister Dorothy Koetter. She is survived by her children, Jim (Lisa), Bill, Judy (Pat) McDonald and Robert (Karen), sister Marie Schneider and brothers Henry and Arnold. Grandchildren, Jamie (Bill) Reichelt, Peter, Anna, Melissa, Michelle, Matthew and Gina. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the extraordinary staff at Diamond Willow, for their loving care of our dear Mother and Grandmother. Also, thank you to our cousin Kathy and the Essentia Health Hospice Team. Visitation Tuesday, 5-7 PM with wake service at 6:30 PM at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. Visitation continues from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Morgan Park. Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
