Bernis Bergren

Bernis M. Bergren, 97, of Edgewood Vista, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 in St. Luke's Hospice. Bernis was born on November 18, 1918 in Cusson, MN to Alfred and Stella (LeMoine) Anderson. She married Earle R. Bergren on April 25, 1940 in Gheen, MN and they moved to Duluth in 1942 where they lived on West 4th Street for many years. She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its prayer group for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earle, a son, Christopher, a granddaughter, Melissa Marie Sundquist, and a daughter-in-law, Sharen Bergren and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Lavender "Nicki" Bergren of Duluth, Alan "Chip" Bergren of Duluth, Brian (Dianne) Bergren of Olympia, WA, Loren (Angela) Bergren of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kim Ring of Duluth and Jennifer (John) Randa of Duluth; a brother, Ray (Dolly) Anderson of Cook, MN; a daughter-in-law, Erlinda Gregorio of Duluth; 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
