Beverly Rivers

Beverly Jean Rivers, 88, formerly of Skyline Parkway, died Monday, March 14, 2016 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital of Alzheimer's. She was born in Duluth on March 24, 1927 to Julius and Minnie Youngberg. She married William Rivers on November 21, 1945 in Zion Lutheran Church in Duluth. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Allan Youngberg; son-in-laws, Russell Davis and Ted Wald; a grandson, Justin Restad; and her husband, William. She is survived by her children, Linda (Donald) Restad of Duluth, Cheryl (Jerry) Lilliberg of Duluth, Sandy Wald of Forest Lake, MN, Jeff (Janis) Rivers of Apple Valley, MN and Tammy (Kenneth) Beck of Isanti, MN; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at Golden Oaks for the great care she received in the 2 1/2 years she was there, she was loved like family. Visitation 12 noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, 2431 West 3rd St. Burial in Park Hill Cemetery.
