Blanche Marie Jonland, 92, of Duluth, went home to her Lord on August 21, 2015. She was born in Helena, Montana on September 5, 1922 and was raised in Duluth. She graduated from Duluth Central High School and Minnesota Civil Service School. She worked for Attorney Fred Noreen until she married the love of her life, Richard W. Jonland June 6, 1943. Later she worked for Zenith City Buick, Minnesota Dry Cleaners and St. Louis County as an accountant. She also worked as her husband's partner at Ed's Home Bakery. Blanche was a charter member of Lakeview Covenant Church and more recently a member of First Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Stella Larson; a brother, Tom Peck; a son, Richard Jr. Survivors include her husband, Richard; daughters, Kathleen (Jay) Ryan of Royal Palm Beach, FL, and Lorraine (Jim) Stoll of Chaska, MN, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane of Silver Bay, MN, nieces and nephews including Stephen (Martha) Jonland of Duluth. Visitation 10 until the 11 a.m. Funeral service Friday, August 28, 2015 at First Covenant Church. 2101 West 2nd St. Pastor Mark Kelly officiating. Burial in Sunrise Cemetery.
