Carol Anderson

Carol Rae Anderson, 67, of West 6th St, died unexpectedly Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital. Carol was born on March 9, 1950 in Duluth to John R. and M. Lorraine (Berg) Anderson. Carol worked at several Bridgeman’s locations for many years, worked for Jubilee Foods as the Bakery Department manager and most recently was the secretary at Bethany Lutheran Church for the past several years. Carol was a lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church, now Spirit of God Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, traveling to Sanibel Island, connecting with friends on Facebook and loved spending time with family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by three sisters, Wendy Anderson and Donna Nelson both of Duluth and Sharon (Milt) Larson of Two Harbors; special cousin, Ginny Berg and many others, three aunts; nieces and nephews, Dan (Bobbi) Larson, Lori (Roger) McDannold, David (Lynn) Larson, Mary (Ollie) Meyer and Shelly (Jon) Larson; eight great nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew and many dear friends.

Visitation 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Spirit of God Lutheran Church, 2431 West 3rd St. The Rev Mark Osthus officiating. Burial at Bethany Cemetery. Memorials to St. Luke’s Foundation would be appreciated. Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
