Carolyn Lagergren

Carolyn B. Lagergren, age 88, Duluth, died February 15, 2014 at Solvay Hospice House. She was born in Winton, MN, on May 7, 1925 to Louis and Otelia Rindall. She was a 1943 graduate of Hibbing High School. Carolyn was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving in the WAVES. She married Raymond Lagergren in Hibbing on May 21, 1949. Carolyn was a Duluth resident most of her life and had worked at the Duluth Air Base, Master Bread and Century Trucking. She had been an active member of the Lutheran Church of The Holy Trinity and sang in the Choir. Carolyn loved cats. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, son Clyde(Lynda), Hermantown, daughters Lynn Adams, Duluth and Kim(Gene) Heikkinen, Chanhassen, MN, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service Wednesday at Lutheran Church Of The Holy Trinity, 2701 W. 3rd St., Duluth. Entombment Sunrise Cemetery .
