Cleora Schmuck

Cleora Marie Schmuck, age 92, of Duluth, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center.  She was born January 18, 1929 in Lastrup, Minn. to Frank and Anna (Boser) Tretter.  Cleora married the love of her life, Raymond in October, 1950.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was the most loving and caring person.  Cleora was a member of the former  St. Mary Margaret Catholic Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond; daughters Judy Lind and Valerie DeRosier; grandson Jimmy Neil; brothers:  Elmer, Norman, Donald and Marvin Tretter; and sister Elaine Bayer.  Cleora is survived by her children:  Raymond Schmuck II, Michael (Allison) Neil, Debbie Cox, Dianne (Bob) Ikola, and Vicki (Jim) Cameron; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six siblings; Betty Waytashek, Janet (Tom Bayer) Tretter, Ted Tretter, Gloria Thomsen, Daryl Tretter and Caryl McGuire; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. Cleora’s family would like to thank the staff at Essentia for their kind and compassionate care.   Visitation:  Thursday, March 4th. from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church.  Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery.  A livestream on Facebook will be available starting at 11:00 am on Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home Facebook page.
