Clifford Moran

Clifford M. Moran, 81, died Friday, November 2, 2012 in New Iberia, LA. Cliff was born on February 28, 1931 in Duluth to Ralph and Christine Moran. He was a 1948 graduate of Duluth Cathedral High, received his undergraduate degree from UMD in 1952 and his graduate degree from the University of Minnesota in 1958. In 1960, he married Dr. Jane Jeffreys, a psychiatrist in Los Angeles, CA. Cliff spent most of his career as a chemist, working in the space program at Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL) in West Pasadena, CA. Cliff was proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Jane; sister, Lena; brothers, Clarence, Vernon and Laurence; and sisters-in-law, Val Moran and Norma Moran. He is survived by daughters, Jennie Moran of New Iberia, LA and Kathy (Randy) Wood of Reno, NV; grandchildren, Jordan Moran, Meagan, Amanda and Matthew Wood; a brother, Ken (Jackie) Moran of Duluth. Memorial services were held in New Iberia.
