Connie Louise Gauthier

Connie Gauthier, 73, went to be with her Lord on September 2nd, 2024, as she was being attended to by Ecumen Lakeshore Hospice.

Connie was a lifelong resident of Duluth and attended Merritt Elementary, West Junior High, Denfeld High, and Duluth AVTI where she graduated as a licensed practical nurse.

She dedicated her life to serving others at St. Luke's Hospital as Dr. Grohs’ nurse, several nursing homes, and was a foster grandma. She also worked as a servant of God at First Love Full Gospel Church for 30 years and along with her twin sister, Carol, served dinners every Sunday after church. She was selfless and was known to help people who needed attending to such as car rides or getting groceries. 

Connie is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her twin sister, Carol, of Duluth, who cared for her for over 3 years; sister, Linda (Vern) Schommer, of Mesa, AZ; niece, Keri Bedoya and her sons, William and Jacob Bedoya of Mesa, AZ; niece, Katie (PJ) Nesser and her daughters, Emily, Avery, and Hailey of Lino Lakes, MN; and as well as Pastor Mike Brander, of Elk River, MN, whom she served God with for most of their lives and cared for when he was sick. 

May Connie rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.

Visitation to be held on Saturday, September 7th at 11 am, with a memorial service starting at 12 pm held at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home (3208 W. 3rd St., Duluth, MN 55806). Interment to follow.
