Darrell Edward Larson

Darrell Edward Larson, 66, of Duluth, MN passed away on March 15, 2024 peacefully in his home.

Born in Duluth, MN, he lived his entire life in the city. He enjoyed everything the city had to offer including music, art, the outdoors, and sports. He loved to read, write, travel, spend time with his sons, friends, and family, and enjoy life. Darrell was an avid Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Twins fan. He also was a 17 time champion of the World Beer Tour at Old Chicago in Duluth where his mug reads “Big Daddy”

He worked at Spee-Dee Delivery for over 30 years and was an amazing artist on the side having his own studio at one point.

Darrell always enjoyed making others happy by hosting get-togethers at his house, potlucks at work, and always meeting up at his favorite restaurants to catch up with friends and family.

We will always remember his great one-liners, nicknames he had for us all, home museum full of collectibles, and how he was always there when we needed a laugh!

Darrell is survived by his sons Eric and Andrew, his brother David, his nephew Michael and grand nephew Oscar, his bonus nephew Matthew, and many other friends and family!

The Celebration of Life will be held at Old Chicago in Duluth from 12:00-3:00 PM on April 6, 2024
