Diane LeFaive

Diane Marie LeFaive, 64, passed away at her home, peacefully in her sleep, on May 6, 2016 due to complications of gallbladder and liver cancer. She was born on April 10, 1952, the third of seven children, born to Raymond and Stephanie LeFaive (Anderson). She was a 1972 graduate of Duluth Denfeld High School, and was a long time employee of ISD #709. She thoroughly enjoyed being a "lunch lady". She loved spending time with her family, and we, in turn, loved her immensely. She loved all animals, and was an avid fan of our Minnesota Vikings. We will miss her sense of humor, and her beautiful heart lives on in all of us. Our lives are richer for having had her with us, and we will forever miss her gentle nature and caring smile. May she rest in peace in the arms of Our Lord. God wanted her now... He set her free. She was preceded in death by by her parents, her stepfather Bill Anderson, and her brother-in-law Tom Johnson. Diane is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by her two sisters, and very best friends, Michele LeFaive Johnson, and Janet (Rustin) LeFaive Banks , both of Duluth, and her four brothers, Joe (Patty Pensak) LeFaive, Gerald (Cindy Folger)LeFaive, John (Barb Greene) LeFaive, all of Duluth, Richard LeFaive of Arizona, and nieces and nephews, Teri , Michelle, Mike, John, Jeremy and Lisa LeFaive. Visitation, Sunday May 15, from 10 am until the noon Memorial Service at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
