Dolores Dincau

Dolores Dincau, 102, longtime Duluth resident passed away on Monday March 25, 2024.  She was born in Little Falls, MN on October 22, 1921, to Alex and Cecelia Rudeck. 

Dolores was a very active member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church and the Slovenian Women’s Union Branch #137.  She had worked as a Clerk at JCPenney’s, Western Union, Snyder’s, Fashion Cleaners in West Duluth and Glass Block Department Store.  

Dolores enjoyed crocheting, painting, sewing, and was a very good cook. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer, brother Harold “Red” Rudeck, daughter-in-law Karen Dincau, grandchildren Joey Lynn Oestreich, and Lee Gernander. 

She is survived by her children Robert “RJ” Dincau, Dennis (Peggy) Dincau, Carol (Richard) Bloomquist, and Sue (Rich) Borg, 14 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, Kellen, Avery and Noah, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 11, 2024, from Noon until the 1pm Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church.  The burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.  Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.  3208 W. 3^rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.  218-624-1059.
