Donna Laura Peterson

Donna Laura Peterson, 89, of Duluth, died on Friday, January 10, 2025 in Essentia. She was born in Duluth to Arthur F. Olson and Lillian O' Day Olson on May 16, 1935. She was a 1953 graduate of Denfeld High School and married to Donald E. Peterson on August 7, 1953 in Duluth. She was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church, presently Spirit of God Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, served on the Rachel Circle and as a member of the Church Library Board. Donna was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a member of VFW Auxiliary and officer of Air Force Sergeants Association. She was very creative with crafts and sewing and loved to read and travel. She was preceded by her parents and husband. She is survived by sons, Dennis (Beverly) Peterson and Darren Skjoelsvold; a daughter, Diane (Mike) Rask; grandsons, Erik Peterson and Bryan (Maria Bradley) Peterson. She will be sadly missed as Mother, Grandmother, and by all of her relatives and friends. 

Visitation on Saturday, January 25th, beginning at 11:00 AM at Spirit of God Lutheran Church, 2431 West 3rd St, followed by Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 noon. Burial at Oneota Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Willliams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
