Gail Reamer

Gail Marie Reamer, 84, of West Third Street, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Essentia Health. Gail was born on May 5, 1937 in Superior, WI to Don and Phyllis MacKenzie. Gail was a graduate of Central High School in Superior. She was a waitress at various restaurants in Duluth and loved meeting people. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, and spending time with friends young and old. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; a daughter, Kelly Luchtenburg-Reamer; two sons, Rusty and Duane. Gail is survived by a son, Scott of Hermantown; a daughter, Tammy (Ray) Chaffey of South Range, WI; a sister, Marvis (Roy) Harju of Superior; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her significant other, Jim VonDane of Hermantown. A celebration of Gail’s life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Log Cabin Tavern. 2821 South County Road E, South Range, WI. Burial in Oneota Cemetery.
