Gertrude Siironen

Gertrude K. Siironen, 100, Duluth, died April 7, 2016 at St. Eligius Health Center. She was born in Sebeka, MN on October 13, 1915 to Gust and Emma Heikkila. She married Eino Siironen in October, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Vivian, brothers Owen, Archie and Arvo and sisters Viola and Julia. Gertrude is survived by her children James (Debbie), Waycross, GA, Alice (Duayne) Nordin, Duluth, Aggie Brown, San Antonio, Norma (Jim) Cooley, Coon Rapids, MN, brother Art, in Newton, IA and many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Burial at Red Eye Township Cemetery, Sebeka, MN. The family is deeply grateful for the care Mom received at St. Eligius the past 10 years. Memorial service is pending. Final care entrusted to Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
