Glen "Boots" Smith

Glen “Boots” Smith, 89, of Duluth, passed away peacefully with family by his side, July 7, 2019. He was born in Duluth on October 17, 1929, to John and Myrtle Smith.  He graduated from Denfeld High School. He enjoyed many years working as a milk man, fishing with his buddies, and time with family and friends.  Glen was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gail (Springer) Smith; and siblings, John, Joyce, Wesley, and Donald.  He is survived by daughters, Glenda Smith Harty and Susan (Jim) Dedina; grandchildren, Kenyon and Alexander Harty, Travis and Mandy Dedina; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to thank St Luke’s Hospice and the staff at Westwood. Memorials can be directed to St Luke’s Hospice. Visitation will be 3PM, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, with family and friends; celebration of life at 3:30PM, in Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home, 3208 W 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55806. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery Duluth.  Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home, 218-624-1059
