Gordon F. Gajeski

Gordon Fredie Gajeski, 83, of Duluth, MN, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2024. He was born September 5, 1941, to Frank and Marie (Kuznia) Gajeski in Warren, MN. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1960. He married Mary Lou Smith on August 10, 1968. They have two sons. Gordy retired from Lakehead Painting after many years. He loved playing cards of any kind, especially Cribbage. He was on a Cribbage team for over 50 years. He loved football, hockey and Nascar on weekends, and loved going on rides to anywhere. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond, Leonard, Frank, Rudy and sister, Loretta Casale. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Lou; sons, Jason (Tonya) of Hermantown and Mark of Duluth; grandsons, Connor and Colin; brother, Gene (Joan) and a sister, Dolores Kulaszewicz, and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 721 N. 57th Ave. W. Fr Richard Kunst officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Burial in Oneota Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
