Harry Edward Fisher, 82, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born in Duluth on May 3, 1937 to Carroll “Chub” and Gwendolyn “Billie” Fisher in Duluth, MN. Harry graduated from Denfeld High School and the U of M with a Forestry Degree. He owned and operated North Shore Forest Products. Harry was a Lobbyist for the St. Louis County Land Department. He loved to cut wood, and time spent at his X’ Isle cabin on Saganaga Lake, Ontario, and his cabin in the mountains in Essex, MT. Harry was a member of the Timber Producers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Bryan Fisher.
He is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Heidi Fisher Mlynarczyk, grandson Bryce Mlynarczyk, sister Carol (Dale) Bosch, cousins Gwen Skelton, Bill Fisher, Elizabeth (Robert) Herbert, and John (Robyn) Fisher and families, nephew Rob (Lanae) Walker, nieces Elizabeth (Peter) Hang, Katy (Edward) Giefer, and many great nieces and nephews.
