Helen Becks

Helen Becks, 98, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at The North Shores Estates surrounded by family. Helen was born in Superior, WI on August 2, 1926. She attended Denfeld High School and married Arthur Becks on May 21, 1949 in Duluth. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed reading, knitting, walks and spending time with family at the cabin on Fish lake. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Walt Skudney. Helen is survived by her children, Linda (Mike) Andrews, Rick (Ethel) Becks of FL, Steve (Sue) Becks of Duluth and Kevin (Tracy) Becks of Esko; grandchildren, Tina, Troy, Matt, Linzie, Josh, Jacob, Wade, Nicole, Tarja, Sherry and Michael; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the staff at The North Shore Estates and Moments Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Helen in her last months. 

Visitation 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. 2410 Morris Thomas Road. Fr Anthony Craig officiating. Burial in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Lawrence Catholic Church would be appreciated. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
