Joan Ide

Joan Elizabeth Ide, 61, of Hermantown, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at Essentia Health with family by her side. She was born on September 27, 1958 in Duluth to George and Elvira Kehoe. She was a graduate of Denfeld High School and worked as a financial customer service representative for Essentia Health. Joan married Mark Ide in Las Vegas on June 18, 1982. She volunteered with the Reading Pals at the Proctor Schools, enjoyed gardening, crafts, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. Joan is survived by her husband, Mark; a daughter, Tara (Ben) Vanderport of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Zoe, Zizi and Zion Vanderport; ten siblings. Visitation and refreshments will be from 12 noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday, October 21, 2019 in Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Pastor David Holmbeck officiating. Burial in Oneota Cemetery.
