June Foster

June M. Foster, 87, formerly of Twig, died Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Chris Jensen Health Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Duluth on June 22, 1926 to John and Myrtle Barber. June was a homemaker raising her five children. She collected dolls and enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leonard and Robert Barber. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; her children, Kathy Hughes of Duluth, David (Tammy) of Twig, Gene (Cindy) of Saginaw, Greg (Chris) of Twig and Cindy (Don) Freer of Twig; siblings, John Barber, Wilbur Barber, Lillian (Dave) Beran , Eugene (Gloria) all of Duluth and Dave (Geri) of Oregon; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
