Karen Marie Jentoft, 67, of Duluth, died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in her residence from natural causes. Karen was born on October 3, 1954 in Duluth to Dr Lowell and Mary Ann (Linden) Jentoft. Karen was a 1972 graduate of Denfeld High School where she was on the National Honor Society, cheerleader and secretary of her sophomore class. She earned her Registered Nurse degree from the College of St. Scholastica, graduating Cum Laude in 1976. She worked for the National Park Service at several locations, Isle Royale being her favorite. She enjoyed downhill skiing, hiking, boating and anything outdoors. Karen was a very kind and compassionate person. She was a member of First Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Karen is survived by two sisters, Marie Hubert of Woodstock, GA and Alice (Kevin) Haberman of Duluth; four nieces, Andrea (Andrew) Phillips, Jackie (Brenton) Staley, Anja and Avah Haberman; two great-nephews, Oliver and Benjamin Staley. Visitation 10 am until the 11 am funeral service Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at First Covenant Church. 2101 West 2nd St. Pastor Josh Rude officiating. Burial in Union Cemetery, Hermantown.
