Kim Olthoff

Kim M. Olthoff, 54, Hermantown, died November 21, 2012 at Solvay Hospice House surrounded by her family, after two and one half years of battling liver cancer. Kim was born in Duluth on March 4, 1958 to Earl and Ellen Olthoff and was a 1976 graduate of Hermantown High School. Kim had worked for many years as a CNA. Kim loved being a stay-at-home Mom and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful person inside and out and will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her father, brother Todd and Jim Simone. Kim is survived by her daughters Katie and Nikki, her mother Ellen Olthoff, sisters Linda(Chuck)Eilefson, Sandy(Denny)MacKay and Patti(Mike)Theno and several nieces and nephews . The family would like to give a special thanks to the Solvay Hospice Staff for their exceptional care and comfort during her journey.
