Linda S. Lane

Linda S. Lane, 66, of Hermantown, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in her home. She was born on April 10, 1958 in Duluth to Donald and Hilde Tallakson. Linda was a Hermantown High School graduate and worked at Larry’s Quick Wrench and retired from the Benedictine Health Center where she worked in the Environmental Services Department. She was a member of the American Legion Post 71 Auxiliary. Linda participated in the Dragon Boat races, she enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, snowmobiling riding her own motorcycle. Linda and Dennis love the UMD Bulldogs women's hockey team and were season ticket holders for many years. She was a dog lover and rescuer. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis; a daughter, Erin (Colin) Engstrom of Hermantown; a son, Evan (Jessy) Ritchie of Proctor; stepchildren, Pamela Morello of Stevens Point, WI and Peter (Sarah) Lane of Golden Valley, MN; step grandchildren, Mikhayla, Gi, and Tabitha Morello; a step great-grandson, Aiden; a sister, Kitty (Mel) Harvey of Saginaw, MN; two brothers, Bruce (Linda) Tallakson of Hermantown and Joe (Crystal) Tallakson of Hermantown and extended family in Germany. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date at the American Legion Post 71. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
