LoRayne Olson

LoRayne Joyce Olson, 85, Duluth, passed away Friday September 18, 2015 at Chris Jensen Nursing Care Facility. She was born on May 18, 1930 to William and Elaine Diehl and was a 1948 graduate of Denfeld High School. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of The Holy Trinity, the Altar Circle and also was the wedding coordinator and flower chart chairwoman for many years. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, cross stitch, doing the morning crossword puzzle with Elvera and shopping on Friday's with Lois. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, DeWayne in 2003. She is survived by her son Bruce(Irene)of Duluth, daughter Marsha(Tom)Olson, of Eveleth, sister Nancy(Gerald)Olson, of Duluth, six grandchildren and one niece. Her family would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the staff of Chris Jensen: Dan, Diane and the entire Birch Unit for their many acts of kindness and for their compassionate care of LoRayne. Visitation 5-7PM Wedneday, September 23, at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home. Inurnment at Oneota Cemetery. Private Family Services at a later date.
