Lorraine Casshie

Lorraine Sink Casshie, 91, Duluth, died July 22, 2017 at Essentia St. Marys, Duluth.  She was born in Duluth on May 31, 1926 to John and Victoria Sink. Lorraine was a l944 graduate of Denfeld High School and later married Carl Casshie on August 21, 1948.She retired in 1976 from Norwest Bank(now Wells Fargo) as assistant trust officer, after 32 years of service.She had been a companion for Julia and Caroline Marshall for 17 years. Lorraine had been a lifelong active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was involved in its Altar and Rosary Society and yearly Fall Festival. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.  Lorraine is survived by  nephews Ray(Rose)Sink and Ed(Marlene)Sink, 4 grandnieces and 2 grandnephews.  Visitation 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial Saturday July 29, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 W. 3rd St., Duluth.  Burial at Polish Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials to Holy Family Catholic Church are preferred.  Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher  is entrusted with final care.
