Lucille "Mickey" Stock

Lucille "Mickey" M. Stock, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte. Mickey was born December 14 1927 to the late Otto and Lillian (Kongstvedt) Michelsen in Duluth, Minnesota. She was a retired secretary for a children's home in Minnesota and moved to Port Charlotte in 1991 from Duluth. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Port Charlotte.
Lucille lived life with an adventurous spirit and an infectious smile. Mickey was a 1945 graduate of Denfeld High School and a member of the V8. She made friends wherever she went. She volunteered for 10 years making costumes for the Charlotte Players. Throughout her life she loved to travel and camp having many great adventures with her family across the United States and later in life across the world.
Waiting to greet her in heaven are her husband Richard D Stock and her Daughter Candace Rae Stock. She is also preceded by her three sisters Esther, Ellen and Lorraine. She is survived by her loving family, her companion and friend, Hugh C. Wyatt of Port Charlotte; a son, Thomas M. Stock of Denton, TX; two daughters, Kitty (Mark) Russell of Duluth, MN and Coleen (Todd) Nordwall of Hermantown, MN; a foster daughter, Arlene (Doug) Covert and a foster son, Edwin Piipke; her 5 grandchildren Jessica, Rick, Seth, Tyler and Heather and 10 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 4715 Hermantown Road, Hermantown, MN. Burial at Oneota Cemetery.
