Margaret Sundin

Margaret "Marge" Martha Sundin, 89, formerly of West Calvary Road, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Duluth on June 13, 1926 to George and Stella Williams. Marge was a Denfeld graduate and had worked for Zenith Machine Shop during World War II and the Universal Match Co in West Duluth. She married Marshall Sundin on May 27, 1950 in Duluth. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and collecting spoons. She was preceded in death by her parents,; a brother, George C. Williams; a sister-in-law, Loretta Williams; and her husband, Marshall. She is survived by her sons, Roger (Rose) Sundin of Duluth, David (Dawn) Sundin of Hermantown; a daughter, LuAnn (Larry) Ibanez of Kauaii, Hawaii; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a special friend and neighbor, Sylvia Korby. The family would like to thank the staff at Edgewood Vista and St. Luke's Hospital for the wonderful care provided to Marge. Visitation 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church, 4230 St. John's Ave. Fr Richard Kunst officiating. Burial at Oneota Cemetery.
