Marian C. Greco

Marian C. Palmer Grew Greco 92, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday Oct. 26, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospital with her family by her side.  She was born in Duluth on September 19, 1931, to Alfred and Esther Palmer.  Marian had worked at various places in Duluth, including the Flame Restaurant.  She loved to garden and had a green thumb.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needle work, shopping, bingo, scratching scratch off tickets, and country music.  Marian supported the disabled veterans, the humane society, and the Audubon Society.  She loved birds and dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Raymond Grew and Thomas Greco, siblings Barbara, Duke, Carol, Tom, Leonard, and Elanor, son Steven Grew, and grandsons Mark Grew, and Michael Van Pelt, and her beloved companion Mr. Fritz.

She is survived by her children Raymond (Linda) Grew, Mark Grew, Hazel (Ed) Schoenborn, Mary (Carl) Snedker, Muriel Grew, and Edward Grew, daughter-in-law Esther Grew, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday Nov. 1, 2023, from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral service in Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.  3208 w. 3^rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.  218-624-1059.  Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
