Marie West

Marie passed away peacefully Oct 29 after a reemergence of the Melanoma she battled for several years. She is preceded in Death by parents, Oliver and Genevieve Johnson; and brother, Richard Johnson.

Marie enjoyed camping, gardening, family get-togethers, and spontaneous road trip adventures. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her mere presence elevated the mood and spirits of everyone within range of her smile. She will be sorely missed, and never forgotten.

Survived by husband of 37 years, Tom; children, Victoria (Varun) Sudhakar, Derek (Jenny), Tyler (fiancé, Leasha Reindl), and Jennifer; grandchildren, Ethan, Adam, Emma and Amelia; sibling, Aldred Johnson, Bonnie (Jack) Fahrner, Connie Bergeron; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation on Wednesday, November 3rd from 5-8 p.m at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home, 3208 W 3rd Street, Duluth, MN. Funeral Service 12:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4th at Salem Lutheran Church, 4715 Hermantown Rd, Hermantown, MN. Visitation one hour prior to service and luncheon to follow. Masks are required in church. Interment at Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
