Marilyn Ann Gratto, 88 died peacefully on June 17 at Essential Health following a brief illness.
Marilyn was born on November 15, 1928 in Duluth, MN to Earl and Dorothy Gratto. Marilyn worked as a social worker all her life, retiring as director from Miller Dwan. She was involved in many civil organizations, including Lighthouse for the Blind, Chum Food Shelf, Salvation Army, Miller Dwan gift shop. She was a long time member of Altrusa Cub of Duluth. She was active with the Diocese of Duluth and Holy Family Catholic Church , and in 2015, she was chosen Woman of the Year.
Marilyn is preceded in death by parents, Earl and Dorothy, brother Earl, and her sister, Margaret. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Langenbrunner, eight nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews, and one great great nephew.
Visitation 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial Monday June 26, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2430 W. 3rd St., Duluth. In lieu of flowers, donate to a charity of your choice. Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral home is entrusted with final care.
