Mark Daniel Holte, 62, of Duluth, died Friday, May 10, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital. Mark was born on July 31, 1956 in Minneapolis to Daniel and Marian (Erickson) Holte. Mark graduated from Robbinsdale High School with Salutatorian Honors and graduated with Distinction from the University Of Minnesota Institute Of Technology with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Mark had worked for Dow Chemical Company for several years and most recently has been a landlord with rental properties in Duluth for the past 15 years. Mark enjoyed downhill skiing in Colorado; camping, hunting and fishing in Northern Minnesota and golfing. He attended Brunswick United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by an infant sister; his mother, Marian; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Elsa Erickson; paternal grandparents, Nels and Caroline Holte. Mark is survived by his father, Daniel Holte of Duluth and an uncle, John (Nancy) Holte of Duluth. Visitation 10 until the 11 a.m. Memorial service Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Burial in Oneota Cemetery.
