Mary Hedeen

Mary Therese Hedeen, age 91, of Duluth, died Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center.  She was born in Superior, WI. on December 11, 1928 to Harry Edward and Grace Eleanor (Mooney) Egan, Sr.  Mary married J. Richard Hedeen on July 22, 1950.  She worked as an accountant/bookkeeper for Commercial Credit.  She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a former member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.  She belonged to the Park Point Buoys and Gulls Club.  Mary enjoyed cooking, knitting and also volunteered at St. James School for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J. Richard, her son Mike, her grandson Kevin and her brothers James and Harry, Jr.  Mary is survived by her children:  Anne (Mike) Donahue of Superior,  Tom (Linda) Hedeen of Alton, MO, Patty (Dave) Johnson of Duluth and  her daughter-in-law Trish Hedeen of Rochester, NY; grandchildren:   Andy, Pete, Kristen, Dan, and Jake; four great-grandchildren:  Elissa, Ryan, Harper, Lily, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends at Baypoint Estates.  VISITATION:  Monday, September 21, 2020 from 10 AM until 11 AM, followed at 11 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church.  Due to COVID-19, FACIAL MASKS ARE REQUIRED.  Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery.  Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
