Mary Jentoft

Mrs. Mary Ann L. Jentoft, 93, Duluth, died Saturday October 21, 2017 at Diamond Willow Assisted Living, in Cloquet.  She was born in Duluth on April 21, 1924 to Esther Fredrickson Linden. Esther died when Mary Ann was an infant and was raised by her grandparents Mary Elizabeth and Erick Fredrickson, her aunt, Pearl Fredrickson Brander and uncle George Fredrickson. Mary Ann was a wonderful wife and mother.  She was loved by her family and all who knew her.  She will be truly missed.  Mary Ann graduated from Denfeld High School on June 4, 1942 and afterwards earned her certification from the Minneapolis General Hospital in X-ray Technique on February 1, 1945.  After graduation she worked as an X-ray technician and married the love of her life, Dr. Lowell Jentoft on January 4, 1947 in Duluth.  Mary Ann and Lowell resided in Duluth and attended First Covenant Church.  She loved family and friends, boating, spending many weekends camping and fishing and their Florida home during the winter.  Mary Ann is preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Dr. Lowell Jentoft.  She is survived by her three children, Marie Hubert, Woodstock, GA, Karen Jentoft, Duluth and Alice(Kevin)Haberman, Duluth, grandchildren Andrea(Andrew)Phillips, Jacqueline(Brent)Staley, Anja Haberman and Avah Haberman and great grandson Benjamin Barrett Staley.  Visitation 11AM until the noon service Saturday November 4, 2017 at First Covenant Church, Duluth.  Inurnment Union Cemetery.  Memorials to First Covenant Church preferred.  Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
