Matthew Stewart

Matthew Daryl Stewart, 33, of Duluth, died Saturday, June 2, 2018. Matt was born in Duluth on May 10, 1985 to Scott Stewart and Clarissa Landowski. Matt attended Central High School and married the love of his life, Kris Pederson on March 22, 2012 in the Dominican Republic. Matt worked for Mobile Housing in Duluth for many years and currently was a sales associate at Bullyan RV Center. Matt enjoyed fishing, camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling, cooking, watching UMD Hockey and the Minnesota Vikings. He loved people and had an infectious smile. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Mike Stewart; paternal grandfather, Jack Stewart and maternal great- grandmother, Tillie Ronning. He is survived by his wife, Kris; his father, Scott Stewart (Will Engstrom) of Hermantown; his mother, Clarissa Landowski of Duluth; his brother, Michael of Duluth; paternal grandmother, Joni Stewart of Duluth; maternal grandmother, Char Bodin of Duluth; mother and father in-law, Debbie and Gary Pederson of Duluth; sister-in-law, Jen (Jeremy) Oswskey of Foxboro, WI; two nieces, whom he adored, Ashley and Makenna; many extended relatives and friends; he loved playing with his dog, Misty. Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Friday, June 8, 2018 at Family of God Lutheran Church. 4097 Martin Road. Pastor Laura Berdahl officiating.
