Maurice Mann

Maurice William Mann, 85, of Proctor, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Golden Oaks in Proctor. Maurice was born on August 4, 1935 to Kenneth and Marion (Overvig) Mann in Moose Lake, MN. Following high school, Maurice served in the Navy. He married Jackie Mrozik on November 8, 1958 in Duluth. Maurice worked for the DM & IR and retired from Clyde Iron Works. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Proctor Moose. Maurice was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sally Jean Obrokta. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; two sons, Timothy Mann of Duluth and Thomas (Sherri) Mann of Saginaw, MN; a sister, Shirley (Michael) Kaczmark of Duluth; two brothers, Paul Mann of Lakeville, MN and Willis (Jackie) Mann of Laurel, MD; a grandson, TJ Mann of  Saginaw, MN; a step granddaughter, Dusty Vlaminck of Baxter, MN; five step great-grandchildren, Starla, Christian, Nolan, Presley and Castor; many nieces and nephews. Due to the current pandemic, family services were held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
