Michael J. Swanson, 51, Duluth, died June 9, 2012 in St. Lukes Hospice. He was born in Aurora, MN, on January 16, 1961 to Donald and Emma Swanson and was a 1979 graduate of Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School. Michael had worked as a roofer throughout the United States. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Michael is survived by his parents Donald and Emma, Hoyt Lakes, brothers Jeffrey(Sherill), Mt. Iron, Scott, in Chisholm, Chris(Vicki Poupard), Aurora, Kevin, in Eveleth, nephew Levi Swanson, his beloved companion, Tammi Eggert, Duluth, and her children Misty, Jeremy, Dustin and Timothy and 5 granddaughters. Memorial service Thursday 1PM at Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home, 3208 W. 3rd St, Duluth. Burial at Hoyt Lakes Cemetery.
