Mona Mae Stenson

Mona Mae Stenson, 80, of Duluth, died Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Hilltop Health Center. Mona was born on January 16, 1944 in Hibbing, MN to Carl Sr. and Edith (Gelling) Stenson. She grew up in Duluth and worked for Jeno’s, housekeeping at Downtown Motel  and Miller Dwan Hospital. Mona enjoyed shopping and playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Amey Kennedy; nephews, Christopher Kennedy and Joshua Proux. Mona is survived by a sister, Jeannie Stenson of Duluth; two brothers, Carl “Bub” )Mary Jo) Stenson of Tamarack, MN and Bill (Roni) Stenson of Cloquet; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop Health Center and St. Croix Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Mona.

Visitation 10 am until the 11 am memorial service Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Chaplain Tricia Mattson officiating. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Wright, MN at  later date.
