Patricia Diane Johnson, age 81, of Duluth died peacefully on July 6, 2024. She was born on March 13, 1943 to parents, Roger & T. Emerald (Davis) Kregness. Pat was born and raised in Duluth, and was a 1961 graduate of Central High School. She married Clinton “Ned” Johnson on July 25, 1964. She worked as a secretary at Ojibway Press until she decided to stay home and raise her three beautiful children. Later in life she worked at the DECC as a server for a number of years. Pat was a collector of many things but she was especially proud of her collection of reamers. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family. She gave unconditional love and endless generosity to everyone. She will be remembered for her warm personality, artistic nature, and kind heart. She especially enjoyed watching her daughter, Amanda, play in the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband. Pat is survived by her children, Clinton, Amanda (Scott) Wirta and Emily (David) Wigg; Sister, Pamela Jean Potthier; grandchildren, Mariah, Zachary, Andrew, Quinn, Ashton “AJ”, and Aurora; nephew, Ronald (Amber) Potthier; niece, Stacey (Mark) Bailey; many special cousins and friends; and her special tuxedo kitty, Lucy.
A Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm with a graveside burial at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 25th at Park Hill Cemetery, 2500 Vermilion Rd, Duluth, MN 55803. In lieu of flowers, donations can be dedicated to Pat to the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSSO) at www.dsso.com
