Philip S. Sever, 81, of 103rd Ave West, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Duluth January 11, 1934 to Frank and Anna (Rozich) Sever. Philip was a graduate of Cathedral High School and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked for the State of Minnesota as a grain inspector and subsequently as a driver for Currier Dispatch. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Francis and Lawrence ; brothers-in-law, Irvin "Bud" Tverberg and George Mikrut; and his life companion, Leslie Campbell. He is survived by sisters, Virginia Mikrut of Eagan, MN and Althea Tverberg of Duluth; sisters-in-law, Margaret Sever of Alameda, CA and Helen Sever of Duluth; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; step-daughter, Heather (Jeff) Campbell Bruchu of Tamarack, MN; step- granddaughters, Doreen Freeman and Martina Bruchu and a step great-granddaughter, Holly. Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Rev Fr James Bissonette officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
