Ralph Ehresman

Ralph C. Ehresman, 76, formerly of Gary, Indiana, died unexpectantly Saturday, October 15, 2016. Ralph was born on September 24, 1940 in Gary, Indiana to Herbert and Grace Ehresman. Ralph was a 1958 graduate of Gary Edison School Brunswick and married his high school sweetheart, Margie Zugel on August 8, 1959 in Gary, Indiana. Ralph enrolled in the IBEW Electrical Trade Apprenticeship program where he became a electrician working for the IBEW Local 697 in Gary, retiring in 2002. They had many good friends at First United Methodist Church in Duluth where they volunteered for many activities, including bake sales and United Methodist Camps. Ralph loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jerry. He is survived by his wife, Margie; a daughter, Roxann Smith; sons, Ralph Jr (Carolyn) and Larry; a brother, Robert (Cindy); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, October 21, 2016 in the Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. Rev. Joel Certa-Werner officiating. Burial in Oneota Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ralph's name to your favorite charity.
