Raymond Schmuck

Raymond R. Schmuck, 88, Duluth, died August 22, 2017 at Essentia St. Mary’s, Duluth.  He was born in St. Paul, MN on July 26, 1929.  He married Cleora Tretter on October 21, 1950.  Raymond was an Air Force Senior Master Sgt. retiring in 1970.  He later worked for the US Postal Service retiring in 1990.  He enjoyed coaching his daughters softball teams, fishing, woodworking and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He loved being with his family and friends. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Martha, and birth mother Myrtle, brothers Herbert Jr. and Gordon, sister Roseann Caron, daughters Judy Lind and Valerie DeRosier, and grandson Jimmy Neil.  He is survived by his wife Cleora, children Raymond II, Michael (Allison), Debbie Cox, Dianne (Bob)Ikola,Vicki (Jim) Cameron, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and brother Bud (Jan).

Visitation 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, August 26, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, Duluth.  Burial at Oneota Cemetery.  Military Honors accorded by the Combined Duluth Honor Guard.  Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
