Richard Johnson

Richard William Johnson, 79, of Duluth, passed away peacefully in St. Luke’s Hospital on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.  He was born in Minneapolis, Mn on April 18, 1942, to Haze and Marguerite Johnson.  Richard was a self-employed Graphic Artist for many years.  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.  Richard enjoyed hunting rabbits, squirrels, and deer in his younger years.  He was a good guy and a friend to all.

Richard was preceded in death by his father Haze Johnson, mother Marguerite, and stepfather Douglas Zimmerman.

Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years Sharon Super, son Matthew Johnson of Inver Grove Heights, MN, sisters Judy (Denny) Lamey of Pacific, WA, and Cheryl (Mark Stawiarski) Mast of Phoenix, AZ, nieces Jenny (Jared) Hunter and Kimber Xara, nephews Adam, James, and Drew Mast.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from Noon until the 1 PM Funeral Service in Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.  3208 W. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.  218-625-1059.  Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery in the Spring.
