Ronald Carver

Ronald Jean Carver, 87 of Duluth passed away on Saturday February 8, 2020 at the Benedictine Health Center.  He was born in Duluth on October 9, 1932 to Loring and Elsie Carver.  Ron attended Duluth Central High School and served in the US Navy from 1951-1955.  He had worked at US Steel, National Iron, and Barko Hydraulics.  Ron loved to be outdoors weather he was working in the woods with his chainsaw or working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Loring, and sisters Mary Laws and Louann Hilsen.

He is survived by his wife Marian, children Dale, Dan (Holly), Diane (Harold) Rohan, Donna Carver, Doreen (Donald) Trader, Dawn (David) Sundin, and Delores (Larry) Sorenson, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and special family friends Steve and Linda Schueler.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 12, 2020 from 2PM until the 3PM Memorial Service in Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.  3208 W. 3rd St. Duluth, MN 55806.  218-624-1059.   Inurnment will be in the MN State Veterans Cemetery in the spring.
