Ruth Mehle

Ruth Irene Mehle, age 96, Duluth, died December 12, 2013 at Viewcrest Health Center. She was born in Duluth on March 5. 1917 to Lawrence and Ida Tronsdal and was a 1936 graduate of Denfeld High School. Ruth was also a graduate of the Young&Hursch Business College and worked as a Legal Secretary for years at various law offices in Duluth. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics, bowling and reading to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She married John Mehle in Duluth on February 14, 1946. She was a life-long member of Zion Lutheran Church, it's Zion Vikings and life member of the St. Luke's Volunteer Group. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her son John(Judy)Mehle, Hermantown, grandsons Jamie(Karen)Mehle, Saginaw, Jesse Mehle, Duluth, great-grandsons Nolan and Braden Mehle, Saginaw, sisters Natalie Tubbs, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Lola Gronseth, Bloomington, MN and Gloria Picciolo, Tamarac, FL. Visitation noon until the 1PM Funeral Service Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Duluth. Burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
