Sasha Olsen

Sasha Marie Olsen, 26, also known by many as Gary Olsen of Superior, WI died Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Essentia Health St. Mary's following an ATV accident. Sasha was born on January 28, 1993 in Duluth to Linda Gimpel-Olsen (Paul) and Gary Olsen. Sasha grew up in Duluth and Superior. Sasha was a free spirit, people pleaser, passionate about the people in her life including her music and outdoor activities. Fishing, dirt bike riding and camping were very special times with her dad. She was an avid chess and card player. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Peggy Gimpel. She is survived by her mother, Linda Gimpel-Olsen of Duluth; her father, Gary Olsen of Superior; a brother, Joseph Gimpel of Duluth; maternal grandfather, Donald Gimpel of Duluth; paternal grandparents, Betty and Dick Porter of Superior; nieces and nephew, Cole, Arianna and Faith Marie; many loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Visitation 12 noon until the 1 p.m. memorial service Monday, April 8, 2019 at Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home. 3208 West 3rd Street. Rev Will Mowchan officiating.
