Theresa Kroll

Theresa H. Kroll, 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on September 19, 2012 at Golden Oaks located in Proctor. She was born in Royalton, MN, on October 15, 1918 to John Schaefer and Mary Cekalla. She lived in Wrenshall with her husband and four children before moving to Duluth, where she has resided for over 40 years, working at St. Mary's Hospital and attending services as a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Theresa enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking, and most of all spending time with her family. She dedicated most of her life caring for her family, which is what brought her the most joy. She thought her greatest legacy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Theresa was a very selfless, strong-willed and hard-working woman who has touched the lives of those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Joana, her grandchildren Melodee, John, Sandy, Keith, Laura, David, Allen, Richie and Stephanie, siblings Lorraine, Geraldine and Richard and her daughter-in-law Nancy as well as her 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas, her sons Larry and Ernest her daughter Mary and beloved great-grandson Paul. SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Friday September 28th at 10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at noon both at Holy Family Catholic Church located 2430 W 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55806. Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements (624-1059).
