Theresa Wallen

Theresa F. Wallen, age 85, Duluth, died May 19, 2015 at Golden Oaks in Hermantown. She was born in Duluth on January 2, 1930 and was a 1949 Graduate of Denfeld High School. Theresa married Orville Wallen in Duluth in October, 1951. She had worked at Minnesota Woolen for 17 years and later had a home daycare for 10 years until her retirement in 1995. Theresa loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed music, especially polkas. Theresa was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father , Rose and John Wiitanen, husband Orville, daughter Anita Matich, brother George, sister Lillian Borske and grandson Brent Ulrich. Theresa is survived by her daughters Claire(Terry)Ulrich, sister Patricia(Dick)Postal, grandson Phil Matich, granddaughers Bridget Ulrich, Allison(Zan) Thrash and Erin Matich, great grandson Jae Thrash, son in law Alex Matich and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 11AM until the Noon Mass Of Christian Burial Saturday May 23, 2015 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2410 Morris Thomas Road, Duluth. Burial at Sunrise Cemetery. Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home is entrusted with final care.
